Universal construction of feedback laws achieving ISS and integral-ISS disturbance attenuation

چکیده
We study nonlinear systems with both control and disturbance inputs. The main problem addressed in the paper is design of state feedback control laws that render the closed-loop system integral-inputto-state stable (iISS) with respect to the disturbances. We introduce an appropriate concept of control Lyapunov function (iISS-CLF), whose existence leads to an explicit construction of such a control law. The same method applies to the problem of input-to-state stabilization. Converse results and techniques for generating iISS-CLFs are also discussed.

Remarks on ISS and Integral-ISS Stabilization with Positive Controls
We consider nonlinear systems with both control and disturbance inputs. The main problem addressed is the design of state feedback control laws, achieving ISS and integralISS disturbance attenuation, with restricted control under the assumption that an appropriate control Lyapunov function is known. Our results generalize the previous results on ISS and integral-ISS stabilization to the restric...
متن کاملISS and integral-ISS disturbance attenuation with bounded controls
We consider the problem of achieving disturbance attenuation in the ES and integral-ES sense for nonlinear systems with bounded controls. For the ISS case we derive a “universal” formula which ext, ends an earlier result of Lin and Sontag to systems with disturbances. For the integral-ISS case we give two constructions, one resulting in a smooth control law and the other in a switching control l...

متن کاملRevisiting the Iiss Small-gain Theorem through Transient plus Iss Small-gain Regulation
Recently, the small-gain theorem for input-to-state stable (ISS) systems has been extended to the class of integral input-to-state stable (iISS) systems. Feedback connections of two iISS systems are robustly stable with respect to disturbance if an extended small-gain condition is satisfied. It has been proved that at least one of the two iISS subsystems needs to be ISS for guaranteeing globall...
متن کاملExplicit Formulas for ISS Stabilization of Nonlinear Systems Subject to Bounded Inputs and Disturbances
Control Lyapunov functions (CLFs), CLF based controller designs and disturbance attenuation have attracted much attention in nonlinear control theory. However, little research exists that considers both the input constraint and the disturbance attenuation problems. For input constrained systems, we cannot stabilize under unbounded disturbances in general. Therefore, we propose an input-to-state...
